Lifetime Warranty Conditions*
Please note that colors of a newly made artwork will become more vivid and vibrant after the adhesive used to attach gemstones has dried completely and has become crystal clear (usually takes about 2-4 weeks).
What warranty covers:
- As long as you or your gift recipient (must be stated when ordering) owns the gem art
- Cracking under normal circumstances*
- Significant color changes after a period of at least 3 month, under normal circumstances
- Gemstones falling off the artwork under normal circumstances
What are ‘normal circumstances' for keeping gem art:
- Indoor use only
- Kept away from direct sunlight or light sources with similar or higher UV light intensity
- Average temperature between 50-95 degrees Fahrenheit (10-35 degrees Celsius)
- Average humidity not exceeding 90%
- Kept inside our frame with protected glass (or frames with protective glass and similar construction to ours)
What voids warranty:
- Cracking, scratches, color changes or mold and mildew as the result of mishandling
- Exposure to radical temperature change (more than 9°F or 5°C change in any one minute period)
- Exposure to radical humidity change (more than 10% change in any one minute period)
- Continuous exposure to temperature above 122°F / 50°C or below 32°F / 0°C for longer than 30 minutes
- Continuous exposure to direct sunlight or light sources with similar or higher UV intensity for longer than 3 hours
- Using frames without protective glass or those having construction different from Dante Gems™ provided frames, or not using frames at all
- All other problems that arise from human flaws beyond Dante Gems™ control (example: accidental drop of the gem art as the result of improper hanging installation, attempting to clean the artwork with a brush that is not soft enough, etc.)
Note: shipping & handling are not covered (customer must also include or pay for return shipping & handling in advance when sending artwork for repair)
